Abstract
Social media use, self-esteem, and sense of purpose were examined as predictors of online self-disclosure in an undergraduate sample. Using PROCESS Model 7, results showed that self-esteem mediated the relationship between social media addiction and self-disclosure, with conditional indirect effects emerging at moderate and high levels of purpose.
