Invisible Challenges In Academia: Qualitative Insights into Mental Health, and Supervision Dynamics In Germany

This qualitative study aimed to explore the lived experiences of early-career researchers, including their primary stressors and coping strategies, as well as supervisors’ perspectives on these challenges. The results highlight the need to create sustainable academic environments with practical support to ensure good mental health and well-being for early-career researchers.
