Abstract
Analyzing MIDUS data (n = 527; 56% female; Mage=63.8), we tested whether race moderated longitudinal associations between perceived stress and cognitive function. Stress predicted poorer executive function and composite cognition among non-white, but not white adults. Findings show race significantly moderates these associations, indicating disproportionate cognitive impacts of perceived stress.
