Abstract
Across two experiments, we examined the potential of the misinformation paradigm for correcting health misinformation. Both studies replicated the misinformation effect with false (study 1) and true (study 2) post-event information accepted and remembered as previously presented. These findings highlight a potential corrective strategy for reducing susceptibility to health misinformation.
