Higher Attendance Rates Correlate with Youth Meeting Competency Attainment Program Goals

This study examined if attendance predicts successful juvenile competency attainment (N=209). We found that attendance rates above 80% strongly predicted successful attainment (89.5% success rate), while rates below 50% predicted failure (7.8% success rate). Juveniles generally needed to attend at least 60% of sessions to be successful.
