Abstract
We examined the associations between social well-being, discrimination, felt stigma, internalized homophobia, and psychological distress among 207 sexual minority men of color. Regression results revealed that discrimination and stigma predicted higher distress and social well-being attenuated the impact of discrimination on distress, indicating its role as a protective factor.
