Abstract
Across two counterbalanced within-subject studies, participants learned Gabor categories while seated or walking (1 km/h). Walking improved information-integration accuracy but not rule-based accuracy. A mixed-effects model showed higher ADHD traits reduced the walking advantage at no-feedback generalization. Decision-bound modeling indicated fewer non-adopters and more optimal-strategy blocks when walking.
