A Proposed Randomized Trial of Emotion-Focused Family Therapy Effects on Caregiver–Child Emotion Dynamics

Abstract
This proposed randomized trial examines whether Emotion-Focused Family Therapy shifts caregiver–child emotion dynamics. Using second-by-second behavioral and physiological time-series and coupled-oscillator modeling, 108 dyads will be followed across four timepoints to identify dynamic patterns and test whether EFFT alters real-time interpersonal mechanisms of change.
