Human, AI, or Hybrid? Comparing Misinformation Discernment and Advice Uptake across the US and Europe

Using collective intelligence, this study compares the accuracy of human, LLM, and hybrid (human + LLM) crowds in detecting misinformation across the US and EU. We also examine whether advice from these crowds improves discernment in a large representative experiment in the same countries (N = 16,000).
