Abstract

We investigate three questions regarding the success of three digital literacy interventions against misinformation, including effect heterogeneities, intervention uptake, and the effect of active choice for an intervention. We employ a pre-post experiment utilizing a representative German and US sample (N = 7,000), combining self-selection and random assignment.
