Abstract
This study examined 272 adolescents during COVID-19 to test whether coping mediates the link between emotional intelligence and mental health. Higher emotional intelligence predicted greater adaptive coping and lower depression, anxiety, and stress. Findings highlight coping as a key mechanism through which emotional intelligence supports adolescent resilience.
