Declines In Objective Numeracy Accelerate As Adults Age: A Longitudinal Analysis

This study investigates age-related declines in objective numeracy by applying latent growth models to longitudinal data with four measurement points across six years. Age predicted accelerating declines in objective numeracy but did not predict differences in baseline scores. Results are discussed in the context of broader cognitive aging trends.
