A Hierarchy of Performance-Related Self-Evaluations

As humans interact with the world, they evaluate their performance on various scales of granularity, from local confidence in singular actions, via domain-level ability-beliefs, to self-esteem. Using a novel experimental task, we here fully trace this hierarchicy of performance-related self-evaluations, showing how the different levels mutually inform each other.
