Abstract
This study examined grit and passion as predictors of procrastination among 824 adults engaged in leisure-time physical activity. Regression analyses controlling for sex showed grit reduced procrastination, obsessive passion increased it, and harmonious passion was protective only among women. Findings highlight gender-specific self-regulatory patterns relevant to leisure-time physical activity.
