Abstract
This study examines whether older adults' ability to reciprocate with others depends on interpersonal closeness. Eighty-four older adults will be assigned to friend, peer, or non-peer (younger) dyads and complete an interactive drawing task, followed by motivation and performance questionnaires. Greater reciprocity and motivation are expected in closer relationships.
