Abstract

This study investigated Body-Mind Axial Awareness (BMAA) training in adults with high autistic traits. Compared to controls, the BMAA group showed significantly enhanced interoception, reduced alexithymia, and improved empathy ( subtle facial expression recognition). This highlights BMAA's potential to support emotional and social regulation in high-autistic-trait populations.
