The Prosocial Family? Dynamic Variable-Centered and Person-Centered Perspectives

We examined daily links between mood and prosocial behavior in 153 Israeli families completing 7-day diaries. Dynamic temporal network and person-centered profile analyses showed that family members’ prosocial acts and positive mood mutually predicted one another across days, and that shared high-prosocial days were associated with especially positive family affect.
