Single Parenting on Children's Learning, Development and Psychosocial Well-Being

Abstract
Single parenting present unique challenges impacting children's learning, development and psychosocial well being. Bowlby's attachment theory was employed. Exploratory descriptive design was employed. Instruments of data collection were interviews and focus group discussion on 122 adolescents. Results: significant stress, anxiety, depression, trauma face children. Potential interventions and support services required.
