Abstract

This study analyzed data from 657 Hurricane Ike survivors (59.2% female, ages 18-65). Assessments of Hurricane Ike-related PTSD (α = .85 ̶ .92) and quality of life (α = .91) at 3, 6, and 15 months after the hurricane revealed significant bidirectional associations between PTSD and quality of life.
