Cognitive-Profile-Informed Mathematics-Related Interventions: A Qualitative Umbrella Review

Abstract
This umbrella review centers cognitive profiles as key in effective mathematics-related education. Synthesizing 100 reviews, it identifies eleven learner categories and shows that interventions tailored to specific characteristics outperform broad approaches. Findings guide educators and policymakers in selecting targeted strategies and reveal gaps in support for underrepresented groups.
