Abstract

We explored the work-life balance of gay men in India. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 31 gay men (21-40 years, mean age 28.73) employed in various Indian organizations. We identified distinct work and family-related stressors and the resulting bi-directional spillover effects impacting work outcomes and personal lives of gay men.
