Abstract
We examined how loneliness and positive solitude relate to mental health literacy among 586 Japanese high school students. Hierarchical regression analyses showed that positive solitude was linked to greater mental-health knowledge, and moderated associations between loneliness and information-seeking knowledge, highlighting the value of differentiating solitary experiences in adolescent mental health.
