Negative Beliefs As a Moderator of Attentional-Function Interactions on Social Anxiety In a Social Evaluation Task

Abstract
This study examines whether negative beliefs amplify the effects of intrinsic alertness, orienting, and executive attention interactions on social anxiety. We expect higher anxiety when intrinsic alertness is high and orienting is low, particularly under low executive attention.
