Implicit Time, Explicit Space: Distinct Contributions of Spatial and Temporal Attention to Temporal Resolution Tasks

Abstract
Spatial and temporal attention are often studied separately. Using three Posner-like cuing experiments, we show that spatial cues robustly enhance both temporal resolution and orientation discrimination, whereas endogenous temporal cues only speed orientation judgements.
