Association between Rejection and Adolescent Emotional Growth and Development

Adolescent Parental rejection impacts negatively on adolescent emotional growth globally. Bowlby's attachment theory anchored the study. Descriptive survey design was employed. Questionnaires and focus group discussions were used on 62 adolescents for data collection as well as composite diagnostic interviews. Results: Lower adolescent emotional growth is associated with parental rejection.
