Abstract

The current study explores the association between perceived parenting, psychological flexibility and cognitive flexibility among young adults. The study reveals how parenting styles (Baumrind typology) and cognitive flexibility affect the psychological distress levels of an individual. This gives key insights into the psychological influences on the young adult mental health.
