Abstract
We identified five family-level triadic profiles in a mainland Chinese sample of 385 preschool children and their mothers and fathers, using latent profile analysis. Results demonstrate that Chinese parenting that aligns with child prosocial, aggressive, and withdrawn behavior is not relatively uniform in ways characterized by most variable-centered studies.
