Abstract
We examined whether cognitive intra-individual variability (IIV) predicts regional heterogeneity in amyloid, tau, and cortical thickness. Cognitive IIV was associated with biomarker IIV across all modalities, including among tau-negative individuals, with stronger effects in MCI and biomarker-positive groups. Cognitive and biomarker variation-based metrics likely reflect common disease processes in AD.
