Abstract

This meta-analysis synthesized the literature on the impact of intragroup rejection–the perceived distancing by members of one’s own heritage culture as a result of differences in the process of cultural adaptation–on mental health outcomes among Latine individuals. Analyses yielded a significant, positive correlation between intragroup rejection and outcomes.
