The Impact of Dysphoria and Training on Conversational Behaviour

Abstract
Conversation partners rated participants who received social-validation training as engaging in significantly more social validation and less problem solving than participants who received problem-solving training. Dysphoria did not moderate this training effect. Instead, regardless of training, greater dysphoria was associated with engaging in significantly less social validation.
