Abstract
We developed affective versions of the Vividness of Visual Imagery Questionnaire (VVIQ; Marks, 1973), which correlated with each other and with the standard VVIQ (convergent validity). Vividness of positive imagery predicted positive affect; vividness of negative imagery predicted negative affect and lower positive affect.
