Exploring Relational and Organizational Factors In Student Responses to Faculty Strikes: A Research Proposal

Abstract
This study examines how faculty and peer relationships and organizational compassion influence students’ experiences with faculty strike. Students at a liberal arts college that experienced a four-week strike will complete an online survey. Stronger relationships and compassion are expected to predict lower emotional distress and greater satisfaction with strike remediation.
