Abstract
This study explored the relation between affective forecasting, depression, and negative schizotypy within the context of social interactions. Findings revealed that depression was linked to greater negative emotion predictions, while negative schizotypy was associated with more accurate positive emotion forecasting, suggesting these conditions may influence affective forecasting through distinct mechanisms.
