Abstract
This study used an eye-tracking paradigm to examine the relationship between attention to threat and the resting-state functional connectivity of the brain regions involved in affective processing and cognitive control. The findings suggest that the connectivity between default-mode and salience networks may engage in the sustained processing of threats.
