Abstract
We examined whether jury selection reduces biases about defendant social and economic status in a homicide trial. When the defendant had low social and low economic status, juror guilt ratings were higher than other conditions. This bias was reduced by removing jurors scoring in the highest 90th percentile on narcissism.
