Abstract
In an online survey, we found that interactions with learning vs. non-learning robots increase participants’ intentions to report billing errors to stores. Intentions are directly linked to narcissism and inversely to Machiavellianism and psychopathy. Differences emerge in norms applied to oneself and to others. Emotional experience mediates effects on intentions.
