"Café Com Colega": A Quasi-Experiment of the Effects of Informal Social Interactions on Workplace Happiness

Abstract
This quasi-experiment with 130 Brazilian employees tests “Café Com Colega,” a six-week, 15-minute weekly cross-department social interaction intervention. Outcomes include workplace happiness, wellbeing, social support, and belonging, analyzed via mixed ANOVA and mediation. We expect increased happiness in the experimental group, mediated by support and belonging, demonstrating a low-cost strategy.
