Abstract
One hundred eleven participants viewed neutral male faces associated with deontological or utilitarian moral judgments, which then served as cues in a spatial cueing task. Higher utilitarian tendencies predicted slower attentional disengagement from both face types, but only among individuals with lower resting HRV.
