Abstract

This study evaluated forensic peer support delivery among justice-involved individuals using statewide administrative data. A propensity score-matched sample showed fewer subsequent justice system involvement among peer support recipients, alongside more frequent drug testing. Findings highlight differential psychological and behavioral effects of recovery-oriented peer interventions in justice settings.
