Abstract
This study investigated parents’ immediate responses to their daughters’ emotions during a dysphoric mood discussion. Daughters’ affect is being microcoded; parent behaviors were coded for emotion-related socialization behavior (ERSB). Parents’ physiological regulation was obtained from ECG. Analyses will examine whether parent ERSB differs by youth affect and parent physiological regulation.
