Abstract
In a study with 274 urban Mexican adolescents (45.8% girls; Mage = 13.02), we examined the moderating roles of family cohesion and family obligation stress on the link between economic stress and perceived educational benefits. These family dynamics are protective for adolescents facing low and average economic stress levels.
