Understanding Employee Benefit Profiles of Generative AI Use: The Role of Supervisor Attitudes and Age

We examine employees' perceived benefits of AI in the workplace, identifying four profiles: High-Benefit Maximizers, Low-Benefit Skeptics, Moderate-Benefit Users, Selective Learners. More supportive supervisors increase the likelihood of experiencing higher AI benefits. Profile differences were observed in age, job crafting, and work engagement, with implications for leadership and organizational practices.
