A Peer-to-Peer Transdiagnostic Intervention Targeting Emotion Regulation, Self-Efficacy, and Belonging In University Students

University students experience high rates of anxiety and depression amid constrained clinical resources. We propose a randomized trial (N=120) of a five-session, peer-delivered, task-sharing intervention targeting emotion regulation, self-efficacy, and belonging versus informational control. Outcomes include symptoms and functioning; mediation analyses will prospectively test hypothesized psychological mechanisms and implementation feasibility.
