Transdiagnostic Processes In Disordered Eating and Non-Suicidal Self-Injury: A Meta-Analysis

We meta-analyzed eight transdiagnostic processes linking disordered eating and nonsuicidal self-injury. All factors were significantly associated with both outcomes except anxiety (ED). Bayesian network analyses revealed that impulsivity, negative affect, and body dissatisfaction had the highest relative impact, outperforming other cognitive, affective, and self-regulatory factors.
