A Biased Recall of Events In Causal Illusions and Pseudoscientific Beliefs

Previous studies suggest that adherence to pseudoscience is related to a bias in the processing of contingency information (i.e., a, b, c, and d trials). We examined whether individual differences in recalling these events could underlie pseudoscientific beliefs. Pseudoscience endorsement was associated with a recall bias of c trials.
