Abstract
This study examined how anxiety sensitivity and personal distress contribute to emotion dysregulation among 108 adults with PTSD. Both independently predicted emotion dysregulation, and personal distress mediated the relationship between anxiety sensitivity and emotion dysregulation. These findings highlight both constructs as promising treatment targets for reducing emotion dysregulation in PTSD.
