Abstract
Using cross-linguistic structural priming and ERPs, this study will test whether Spanish-Catalan/English bilinguals form syntactic representations for null elements in their non-object-dropping languages. Results will clarify whether bilinguals process null elements syntactically or mainly by semantic processing, whether such effects arise from cross-linguisitic influence and the modulation of language experience.
