Abstract

We examine the mechanisms by which beat-inducing rhythms enhance learning of non-adjacent dependencies (NADs) in artificial languages. Using EEG-fNIRS, we will test thirty adults and infants (9, 24 months) to assess how rhythmic cues modulate grammar learning through the differential engagement of attentional, motor, and language networks across development.
