Abstract
We propose to examine how age, worry, and metacognitive bias predict prospective memory performance across adulthood. Using laboratory and naturalistic PM tasks with prediction and postdiction ratings, we will test whether overconfidence reduces PM accuracy and whether task structure influences metacognitive calibration. Planned analyses will clarify mechanisms underlying PM failures.
