The Hierarchy of Silence: An Exploration of Employee Voice Suppression across Organizational Levels

This study investigates organizational silence across hierarchical levels through a qualitative case study. It examines how factors such as fear of retaliation, power dynamics, and organizational culture shape voice suppression, alongside mechanisms that contest silence. Drawing on in-depth interviews with employees, thematic analysis yields implications for theory and future interventions.
